Hey guys! 

I’m Crista. I am a photographer based in Monmouth County, NJ. For the last six years I have been photographing events in the tri-state area. Aside from my own personal travels, I shoot bands, weddings, birthday parties, and similar social gatherings and celebrations. I received my AA in Photography from Brookdale Community College and my BA from the University of Vermont in Sociology, where I also minored in Art.

Since the age of 14, as I began carrying a camera everywhere I went, whether that was to a concert or on a walk, I realized something: Photography is an archive of life. It allows us to never forget the beauty of an event, a vacation, a moment. For any occasion, I love the option of using both a film and a digital camera. Both of these mediums offer different strengths. Shooting digital allows for a more versatile experience, both in the field and during the editing process. Just as well, I truly admire the detail and sense of nostalgia achieved when shooting on film. I am all about bringing the small, almost imperceptible, details of everyday to life while never losing focus on the big picture.
